aBOUT THE PROJECT

Our Game for PC and Console, At Eternity’s Hatch, is a mystery puzzle adventure set aboard a 1950s research vessel with time travel across multiple timelines. Think Outer Wilds meets Return of the Obra Dinn.

Stranded at sea in an alternate timeline, you must utilise the ship’s time-travel abilities to uncover information and solve puzzles across multiple timelines to return home. Along the way, discover secrets about the ship’s origin, its captain, and his quest to reach the Greenland Sea in search of a supernatural anomaly that threatens humanity, and learn enough to bend the forces of science and nature to your will, shaping the story’s outcome.

About the Studio

Jardus Games

Jardus Games is a team of graduates from the University of Portsmouth, having studied the TIGA accredited courses, Computer Games Production and Virtual & Augmented Reality. Chris, our lead artist, and Ethan, our programmer, completed a self-employed placement year in which they developed a mobile game demo. We are now joined by Becca, our technical artist, to help create visually stunning experiences, complementing the deep and compelling narratives we wish to tell. By combining unconventional mechanics with thought provoking stories, we strive to push players beyond familiar ways of thinking.

DunDev provides the ideal opportunity to begin the alpha development of our game, enabling in-person collaboration with our team to boost creativity and refine our ideas. Alongside this, we aim to use our previously developed vertical slice to strengthen our marketing efforts and build a community of like-minded players who share our passion for unique narrative experiences and want to be part of the game’s development journey.

Finally, with the vertical slice and our pitch deck, we will begin reaching out to publishers to initiate discussions for a deal that will fund the full development and support the game’s release.
